    Diaphragms for 802 et.al.

    On Oz ebay are some diaphragms with the following part numbers: 34852 and 35840. What are they? Anybody familiar with them?

    Cheers, Marshall.

    34852 is the 16 ohm 1", usually found in the 604E and earlier. Can be old or new style.
    Two of my Es have the 34852, the other two 20275s.

    35840, if I'm not mistaken, is the new style dia part number for the 23744 'light' dia, and was found in the early 902s.

    This has most of the dia numbers

    I'm thinking the seller has flipped a couple of digits within his description .

    Here's a pic of the backside of a 35480 diaphragm which might be what he's selling .

    IME, my 35480(s) seem to bear out the claim that they were an evolution of the 23744 ( lite ). Seen below ( is one example loaded on different horns ) ;
